Whitsitt Law Office was established in Carbondale, Colorado by Timothy Whitsitt in 2019 when Timothy E. Whitsitt opted for a solo practice that provides civil legal services for the residents and businesses of the Roaring Fork Valley and Western Colorado.
Whitsitt Law Office offers its clients a wide range of civil legal services, specializing in real estate contracts, land use and zoning issues, construction and development, business formation and law including contracts and leases and employment law. Tim continually shows his dedication to the Roaring Fork Valley by participating in many nonprofit organizations.
Tim Whitsitt has 20 years of experience in the private sector and was also Pitkin County’s attorney for 9 years. Tim is a native of Kansas City and attended Purdue University, where he received a degree in Political Science and Economics.

Tim earned his law degree and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan in 1974. He came to Colorado and was admitted to the Colorado Bar that same year.
Tim’s expertise is in real estate, litigation, construction and employment law as well as property titles and natural resources.
Tim is a member of the Carbondale Rotary and was an integral part of Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley from its inception. He enjoys volley ball, biking, baseball and travel with his wife Jacque and their pup Paco.

Jeanne Hayes is a certified paralegal with over 25 years of experience in the areas of litigation support, wills, administration of estates, real estate transactions and business entities. Jeanne also runs Whitsitt Law Office.
Jeanne has worked with Tim Whitsitt for most of those 25 years, both in governmental and private practices. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and native of Michigan, although she has called Colorado home for over 30 years.
